Came back for the horses yesterday to see one of the chickens being attacked by a willy wag tail. "H" said they must have a nest near by - She was right - this is what the eldest girl found in the tree.
We all wanted to have a closer look so "H" backed the ute up closer to the tree and this was what we saw in the nest. They are so ugly but so cute - they don't have their eyes open yet.
After we moved away the mother willy wag tail came back - took this photo of her - boy does she look cranky with us...... I think it is only her marking on her face that make her look like this.
Still working on my art work from yesterday.... Will post tonight if dry.HAPPY SPRING
